Filter cartridge dust collector:

 

The filter cartridge dust collector consists of a filter cartridge as a filter element or a dust collector with pulse injection. According to the installation method, the filter cartridge dust collector can be divided into oblique plug type, side mount type, hoisting type and top mount type. According to the filter cartridge material, the filter cartridge dust collector can be divided into long fiber polyester filter cartridge dust collector, composite fiber filter cartridge dust collector, antistatic filter cartridge dust collector, flame retardant filter cartridge dust collector, membrane filter cartridge dust collector, and nano filter cartridge dust collector, etc.

 

Working principle of filter cartridge dust collector:

 

After the dust-containing gas enters the ash hopper of the dust collector, due to the sudden expansion of the airflow section and the action of the airflow distribution plate, a part of the coarse particles in the airflow settles in the ash bucket under the action of the dynamic and inertial forces; the dust particles with fine grain size and small density enter the dust filter chamber, through the combined effect of Brownian diffusion and sieving, the dust is deposited on the surface of the filter material, and the purified gas enters the clean air chamber and is discharged by the exhaust pipe through the fan.

The resistance of the cartridge type dust collector increases as the thickness of the dust layer on the surface of the filter material increases. When the resistance reaches a certain value, the cleaning starts. At this time, the PLC program controls the opening and closing of the pulse valve. First, the chamber poppet valve is closed, the filtered airflow is cut off, and then the electromagnetic pulse valve is opened. The compressed air rapidly expands in the upper tank in a very short time, and flushes into the filter cartridge, causing the expansion deformation of the filter cartridge to produce vibration, and under the action of the reverse air flow flushing, the dust adhering to the outer surface of the filter bag is peeled off and falls into the hopper. After the cleaning is completed, the electromagnetic pulse valve is closed, the poppet valve is opened, and the chamber is restored to the filter state. The cleaning chambers are sequentially performed, starting from the first chamber cleaning to the next cleaning, starting with a cleaning cycle. The falling dust falls into the hopper and is discharged through the ash valve.

During this process, the filter cartridge must be replaced and cleaned regularly to ensure the filtration effect and accuracy. In addition to being blocked during the filtering process, some dust will deposit on the surface of the filter material, and the resistance increases, so the general correct replacement time is three to five months!

 

Structure and composition of filter cartridge dust collector:

 

The structure of the filter cartridge dust collector is composed of an air inlet pipe, an exhaust pipe, a tank, a ash bucket, a dust removing device, a flow guiding device, a flow distribution plate, a filter cartridge and an electric control device, similar to the structure of the air box pulse bag dust removal.

The arrangement of the filter cartridge in the dust collector is very important, and it can be arranged vertically on the pattern board or obliquely on the pattern board. From the cleaning effect, the vertical arrangement is reasonable. The lower part of the pattern board is a filter chamber, and the upper part is air box pulse chamber. A flow distribution plate is installed at the inlet of the dust collector.

 

Product features of filter cartridge dust collector:

 

  • Because the filter material is folded into a cylindrical shape, the density of the filter material is large, so the dust collector has a compact structure and a small volume;
  • The filter cartridge has a small height, is easy to install, and has a small amount of maintenance work;
  • The filter area of the same volume of dust collector is relatively large, the filter wind speed is small, the resistance is not large;
  • Filter material pleating requires strict sealing at both ends, no air leakage, otherwise it will reduce the effect.

 

Characteristics of the filter cartridge dust collector are as follows:

 

1. The filter cartridge adopts imported polyester fiber as the filter material, and a layer of submicron ultra-thin fiber is adhered to the general filter material, and the fibers are arranged very closely on the adhesive layer, the very small sieve hole can block most of the dust particles of submicron scale on the surface of the filter material.

2. The filter material is folded and used to increase the filtration area and make the structure of the dust collector more compact;

3. The height of the filter cartridge is small, and the installation and maintenance work is small;

4. Compared with the same volume dust collector, the filtering area is relatively large, the filtering wind speed is small, and the resistance is not large;

5. Single-unit dust collector cleaning adopts pulse injection online cleaning method. The cleaning process is automatically controlled by the pulse controller. Multi filter cartridges are arranged in the dust collector to increase the effective filtration area. When a certain (pair) filter cartridge meets the requirements of the cleaning setting, the blowing device is started to perform cleaning, and the other filter cartridges work normally, thus achieving the cleaning effect without affecting the operation of the equipment, so that the dust collector can operate continuously; the combined dust collector cleaning adopts chamber offline pulse automatic circulation cleaning.

6. High dust removal efficiency (generally up to 99.6%), easy to operate;

 

Performance indicators of the filter cartridge dust collector:

 

The pulsed airflow is injected directly into the interior of the filter cartridge without passing through the venturi. This will cause the filter cartridge to withstand negative pressure near one end (upper) of the pulse valve, while the other end (lower) of the filter cartridge will be under pressure. This will result in different cleaning of the upper and lower parts of the filter cartridge, which may shorten the service life and make the equipment unable to achieve effective cleaning.

For this purpose, a venturi nozzle for the filter cartridge can be mounted on the pulse valve outlet or the pulse injection tube. The distribution of the injection pressure is improved to a relatively uniform full- cartridge high positive pressure injection.

The accumulation of dust in the folded seam of the filter cartridge will make cleaning difficult. Therefore, the filter cartridges with large folding area (the filtration area of each filter cartridge is 20-22m2) are generally only suitable for gas of lower inlet concentration.

The gas distribution box of the pulse injection device of the filter cartridge should meet the requirements of JB/T 10191-2000. The clean air stream should be water-free, oil-free, and dust-free. Under the specified conditions, the pulse valve and the joint should have no air leakage and can be normally opened and closed for reliable operation.

The pulse controller should work accurately and reliably, and its injection time and interval can be adjusted within a certain range. When the induction blowing device is installed in cooperation with the blowing pipe, the nozzle of the inducing blowing device should be coaxial with the nozzle hole on the blowing pipe and maintain the perpendicularity with the nozzle, and the deviation shall be less than 2 mm.
