Granular layer dust collector:
Granular layer dust collector is an internal filter type dust removal device that uses granular materials (such as silica, gravel, coke, metal shavings, ceramsite, etc.) as a packing layer. There are many kinds of dust collection, and the dust removal efficiency is less affected by the fluctuation of temperature, gas volume and dust.
Granular layer dust collector definition:
Its dust filter mechanism is similar to the bag filter, mainly relying on sieve filtration, inertial collision, interception and diffusion, so that the dust adheres to the particle filter material and the surface of the dust particles. The filtration efficiency increases as the thickness of the particle layer and the thickness of the accumulated dust layer, and the pressure loss also increases.
Working principle of granular layer dust collector:
The particle layer dust collector used in China has a tower cyclone granular layer dust collector and a boiling bed granular layer dust collector. For the former, the dust-containing gas is pre-purified by the cyclone and then introduced into the layer of the granules with the comb, so that the fine dust is retained in the gap of the active granular layer on the surface of the filler. The thickness of the packing layer is generally 100-150mm, the filter material is usually 2-4.5mm quartz sand, the filtration gas velocity is 30-40m/min, and the backflushing air is blown in the opposite direction at a gas speed of 45-50m/min when cleaning, to make the granular layer to be in an active state while the rotating comb agitating the granular layer. The backflushing period is 15min, the backflushing cycle is 30-40min, the total pressure loss is 1700-2000Pa, and the total dust removal efficiency is above 95%. The back-flushing dusty air stream is returned to the cyclone dust collector. These types of dust collectors often use a multi-cylinder structure of 3-20 cylinders arranged in a single row or in two rows. Each single cylinder can run continuously for 1-4 hours. The boiling granular layer dust collector does not set up a comb, and the back flushing dust speed is relatively high (50-70 m/min), so that the granular layer is in a boiling state.
